SteadySol

How SteadySol works

No jargon, no spreadsheets — just a calm way to see where your money is, and feel a bit more in control. It's built for budgeting in supported housing and hostels, so it fits real life: money that arrives at odd times, rent and bills to keep on top of, and days when you'd rather not think about any of it.

  1. 1

    Log your income

Add money as it comes in, whenever it comes in.

  2. 2

    It's split into pots automatically

Daily Spend is topped up first, so you have a safe amount for the rest of the month. Then any leftover goes into Savings, up to its target. Rent and bills are set aside too, so nothing important gets forgotten.

  3. 3

See what's safe to spend today

One clear number, shared out gently across the days left in the month, so you always know where you stand.

  4. 4

Track small goals, if you want to

Completely optional. No streaks, no pressure — just a way to watch progress build up over time.

  5. 5

Chat with your coach whenever you need to

A gentle, judgement-free space for questions about your money. It's support, not a replacement for real help when things are more serious.

  6. 6

    You choose what you share

If you're supported by a keyworker or someone you trust, you decide what they can see. Nothing is shared without your say-so.

SteadySol isn't about being controlled or managed — it's about building confidence with money at your own pace. Money support in supported housing should feel like that. Open to everyone who needs it.
